The program is designed to help Canadians without private dental insurance access preventive and restorative dental services by covering a portion of treatment costs through participating clinics — like White Canvas Dentistry.
⚠️ Important: The CDCP is not completely free. Most patients are responsible for a co-payment based on their adjusted family net income, as well as any services not covered under the plan. In simple terms, the CDCP:
- Helps eligible Canadians afford dental care
- Is funded by the Government of Canada
- Is administered by Sun Life on behalf of Health Canada
- Supports children, adults, seniors, and individuals without private insurance
Who Can Apply for the CDCP in Milton?
You may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan if all of the following apply:

How the CDCP Works
The CDCP pays a percentage of eligible dental services based on your adjusted family net income:
